Designed to give art majors at the foundation level a strong initiation to the many facets of art, primarily of the last 100 years, via slides and films supplemented by dialogue to acquaint students with the many traditional forms, procedures, and aesthetics that exist today within the field of painting, sculpture, crafts, and graphic design; and to familiarize students with the language of the discipline. Pre-art major class. Prerequisites: Pre-Major status OR Full Major Status in Art.
