Description:
In this introductory course students will write original pieces in three genres that may include flash fiction, short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction, plays, and graphic novels. Students will read exemplary pieces from each genre in order to build a vocabulary base. Through writing exercises, students will generate original writing and refine oral and communicative skills. Students will critique and be critiqued in order to revise early drafts.
