Prerequisite(s): NSS 2010, NSS 3050, and University Advanced Standing. Examines the nature of intelligence and the roles and structures of the primary agencies within the U.S. Intelligence Community. Teaches the major intelligence collection disciplines: Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT). Explores each discipline through both theoretical perspectives and practical insights to provide a robust understanding of intelligence operations. Applies the intelligence cycle and methodologies used in each phase.
