Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Master of Education School Counseling program or approval of the Program Director. Examines practitioner research in school counseling. Teaches how to locate, interpret, and apply credible research to guide evidence-based practice. Explores action-research methods to improve programs and advance the profession. Develops skills to design valid, reliable studies; analyze quantitative and qualitative data; and complete data projects required by the Utah State Board of Education.
